Monday's Music Moves Me

Who are the Music Moves Me bloggers? Well, we are bloggers who blog about music every Monday & if you love music as we do, you are welcome to come join us! (Music Posts Only-meaning at least one music video, please!)

Of our main hostess is our sweet Cathy from Curious as a Cathy, and as you already know her father was quite ill last week. Well, my friends her father has gone to be with our Lord in heaven, and so if you will let's all bow our heads in silence, and say a little prayer to bless Cathy's Dad & her and her family in hopes the grief will not weigh too heavy in their hearts. Our dear Cathy's grief weighs heavy on us all, and our good friend is not with us today. She's with her family grieving over her paternal parent, and in mourning. So, if you don't mind lets have a moment of silence, and each of us can say our own little prayer, and keep our dear Cathy in our hearts and pray that her grief will not weigh to heavy in her heart. Amen.

Dear Lord in heaven, our friend Cathy's father who has passed on and comes to meet with you in your kingdom, we commend his spirit & soul to you & spirit & compassionate regard. That you may accept our good friend's father unto your blessed  heart & hands. We now pray that You bless our friend with Your loving care, renew her strength, and heal her grief in Your loving name, Jesus Christ. Amen!
Thank you everyone for your time & concern. Now where was I... oh yes, our theme this week is from our new co-host this month is none other than my good friend, "SANDEE from COMEDY PLUS"!!! APPLAUSE APPLAUSE! The theme this week are songs with September in the title/name. Have fun! Also, we have our very own Stacy from Stacy Uncorked, and Alana from Ramblin’ with AM, and as you know we also have myself, and our Cathy who is absent this week as you know, and Robin from Songbirds Crazy World. So, let's some music and mellow out today!

My first song I found is by Andy Williams in "Try to Remember"!

Up next is: "See You in September" by The Happenings in 1966

Our final tune is Nat King Cole in "September Song"

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!! CANNOT BELIEVE SEPTEMBER IS ALREADY HERE!  SHEESH~!

  1. Hi Marie - You took an old post and put in new content and published it. When you do this it doesn't show up in the feed because it was already published earlier. I copied and pasted the post in a new post and published it. It now shows up in everyone's feed. I does show that I made the post though. I don't know how to change that.

Love your music today and love the prayer for Cathy and her family and friends.

Have a fabulous day and week, my Sister. Love you. ♥

  3. Great picks... have you ever heard Jerry Orbach sing "Try To Remember"? He was the first to sing it on Broadway, in the play "The Fantasticks." It's here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uGlL0xafP8

  5. Great set. See You In September and September Song are part of my childhood. Actually, Try to Remember is also, although I never saw "The Fantasticks". It ran for so many years, too.
